All children have mood fluctuations.

They get sad, or angry, or anxious.

They procrastinate and become forgetful.

This is all perfectly normal. It’s part of growing up. However, when unhealthy behavior or an unhealthy emotional state persists and begins to negatively impact your child’s ability to function in one or more settings (self, family, school, or community) you should consider seeking professional help.

Remember, it is extremely common for children to need help with their mental health and it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. In fact, one in every five children in the U.S. has a diagnosable mental health condition that requires treatment.
Let's talk about
children's mental health.

Individual & Family Therapy
Our Outpatient Children's Clinic provides children and adolescents an opportunity to work one-on-one with a trained therapist to explore their feelings, behaviors and memories in a safe and caring environment. Using proven, evidence-based therapies, our highly-trained therapists work with children and parents to better understand the child's behavior and to help the child work toward the changes he/she would like to see in themselves.

Group Therapy
Group therapy provides our therapists an opportunity to see how kids relate to one another in a group setting. For kids struggling with social anxiety, poor social skills, or inattentiveness, the group setting offers the therapist a chance to help kids work through their obstacles with other kids as they occur. Group therapy can also be a source of support for kids dealing with grief, bullying, anxiety and depression, and other mental health issues.
